WHO IS HOSTING? Caty Toro is a career coach and strategist with a background in recruitment. Caty found herself in a place where she needed to redefine her own career identity and did so through alignment, boundaries, and applying experience. Now she empowers others to successfully redefine themselves with confidence.
WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? We’re talking about the social self and the essential self, and how the social self can often overshadow the essential, especially in our careers. Together, we’ll define our essential selves: who we are outside of external titles, what we truly want, and the values that matter most to us.
WHEN IS THE EVENT? Live Tues., March 10. The recording will be posted in Rhize by end of week.
WHY SHOULD I SHOW UP? Whether you’re employed or job seeking, professional identity often pulls us toward our social self as we try to meet external expectations. Over time, this can quietly disconnect us from our essential self, causing us to lose sight of our own wants, values, and expectations. In this session, you’ll unpack what’s shaped by outside pressure versus what truly matters—and leave with insight into how to pursue work that actually aligns with who you are.
HOW CAN I SET MYSELF UP FOR SUCCESS? Nothing specific to prep! To get the most from the session, participate, share, and ask questions. This is a safe peer space.
